Can anyone tell me what the standard size is for main bearings for a GSR crankshaft? I ordered 25mm and my builder says there to small... 25mm is what I was told was needed... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance to all....
Ok first off where were you "told" that .25 was the size you needed to order. I am assuming that you're using aftermarket bearings like ACL. You should have talked to your builder, I'm assuming that they have your crankshaft while they're doing your build. The problem is that there is variation from crankshaft to crankshaft, which is why there are different sized bearings. You should have asked your builder, aka the guy who can measure your crankshaft and tell you what bearing size you need to order, and then ordered what he told you to get. Rather than ask us what size is standard, you should ask your builder what size you should order. He has access to your crank to measure it and therefore is going to have alot more knowledge on the subject than us
