We upgraded from a CRV EX to a 2007 Pilot EX. All I gotta say is Wow. Very impressed with the performance and handling, plus it has alot of room. You just have to test drive one to find out. That is if you haven't done that already.

Bought an 09 Pilot LX 4wd last May and have over 20k miles on her already. I really like this vehicle. Smooth ride and lots of room. Being over 6 foot tall head room is always a problem for me. Not with the Pilot. The drivers seat cranks up and down and I've got plenty of space betwixt my noggin and the roof. That was a major problem in my old Pathfinder. Good luck with your decision.

My parents have a Pilot, I can tell you this, I made it through all the snow we had here in Baltimore this year and I didn't miss a day of work, while they were closed I work for a manufacturer and we had zero days off.

They take a lot of road trips with it too, gets good mileage for the class/size and also carries quite a bit. I don't think we are anything but extremely satisfied with the Pilot.

P.S. we sold our FX35 to get the Pilot as some background...
