I have a desk job now so I'll be on here much more. To start off, I have some questions. There seems to be oil leaking out of a bolt above my exhaust and I'm like wtffff. Pictures below: <p>

 

check the bolt on the oil canister might be loose

 

Hey Bri, I think the post above mine was saying to check and see if the oil filter is tight which was what I would have suggested too.

 

Spray some brake cleaner up there, drive the R around, and check again.

Well by the clarity of the fluid and the fact that it's all over the place... I would suspect the tranny output seal on the intermediate shaft is gone.

+1 on that one. i tracked my car one day and it started smoking bad. when i jacked the car up i noticed there was no more bolt that holds the canister to the block. check that out. good luck

It's still 3 colors. My dad is trying to push me to pay for my own things, so being a bum = no income. But since I finally got a decent job maybe I'll get painted soon. I don't drive it much though.

 

Doesn't matter if its 3 or 10 colours...get her on the road! :D

hey bri. welcome back. sorry to hear that your R has problems. but my R was up and running for a little bit b4 i found out that the shop didnt add tranny fluid. so i have to discuss with them fixin my tranny. so i know the woes of something going wrong with your R. by the way, now my car is only 2 colors.

 

So finally looked at the car today and there was like a random bolt missing beneath the breather box. Put another one in and seems to have stopped so far. But we'll see tomorrow!

 

Bri you still trying to sell your car or going to just keep it? You really should go to expo 10 we gotta rep the west coast haha.
