Default Fuel line help

So my car is throwing a CEL 16 so im going to be replacing alot of the fuel system, however my first project was changing the fuel filter but last night when i tried loosening the bolts that hold the fuel lines in wont give. ive tried soaking it with WD40 for 24 hours just about every hour and still no luck. Does anyone have any tricks?

another option is probably going to be just replace those fuel lines as well, being that i can even get them off the engine and firewall. Does anyone have a good link to buy some replacement lines preferribly OEM or braided lines will work as well. Thanks for the help.

Did you use 2 wrenches and turn against each other?

^^^ Yup, that will do. One (open box wrench or vice grips) goes on the black hexagonal(?) nut like thing to keep the filter in place, the other one will undo the bung bolts. Good luck.

Damn dude, are you sure you're turning the right nuts in the right direction? Sounds to me like they're welded down or something.

Get somebody with a 21mm wrench to hold the lower nut on the filter, slide 3 ft pipe into your 17mm wrench and turn that bitch. If that doesn't work, I guess you have to just cut them up and get new lines from the junk yard.

SUCCESS! lol, it took a minute of pounding with the impact wrench to get the 17mm bolt off and i had to take the line off the engine and unbolt the filter put it on a bench vice and wrenched the hell out of the oval bolt for a few minutes with a crows foot and breaker bar. damn thing probably wasnt changed since day 1, 20 years ago . But thanks for everyones help and ideas.
