HI, my accord station wagon is making a rattling noise at low speed. I took it to the exhaust shop thinking it was the pipe, but the guy there said the exhaust is good. He thought the problem may be a motor mount, but couldn't tell which one.

I gave all three a good looking at, but I can't really see anything wrong with them. Is there a proceedure to check the mounts for problems? Which one usually goes first?

The factory shop manual has a procedure for tightening the mount bolts. perhaps you could support the engine, loosen-up the mounts and retight them.
