Default b16a starter compatibility

I got a 99 JDM b16a Sir motor. The motor crapped out. I know I can use the starter from a 99-00 b16a2, but are the starters from b18's compatible as well? Are all b series starters the same? Advice plz, thanks.

the flywheels for all b-series 94-01 integras, 99-00 civic si's, and 94-97 del sol dohc vtec's are the same. So that means the starters use the same gear teeth which means they will work. Just make sure the starter is not for a cable transmission.

the guy at the parts dealer said the mounting plate was different for b16s and b18s, but I can't confirm if he is correct because he didn't show me, but they both do costs the same.
