- The Japanese PRD and PRC ECU do not support a fuel tank pressure sensor required for some US emissions tests, but will likely pass a tailpipe sniffer test if the catalytic converter is in place.
- PNF, PPA and PND ECUs for 5 speed transmissions will not operate the reverse lock solenoid on 6 speed transmissions.
- The K-Pro will not work on Automatic vehicles. Automatic ECUs cannot be converted to manual.

Retains full immobilizer functionality to protect your vehicle from theft.
High speed USB connection
Re-calibrate for larger injectors.

In all fairness if i could do it all over again i would go Hal-Tech. Granted its about 1500 for it but its a stand alone ecu and you get to keep your stock ecu. Not only that it has some pretty nice features...

Hal-Tech is on CRSX so you can ask them yourself hahaha or just hit up CRSX themselves and ask them but i would recommend going straight to the source since they are on CRSX...

Right now, they have made it for teh 05-06 RSX as a plug and play (not sure why exactly) but they do offer the harness to convert it down to be plugged into the earlier models EP3/RSX

I have both a Platinum plug and play box and the Sport 2000 Box that will be going on my race car for the year...just working out a couple other bugs before the switch.

I just became a Haltech dealer after seeing their fabulous new software at PRI this year...the LOGGING is why I am exciting about it. In combo with a nice Racepak dash (which I have as well) there is NOTHING you cant log, play back and get exceptional data with at the track.

If anyone is interested in the new plug and play boxes, we are a long time Honda-Tech vendor

The 02-05 EP3/02-4 RSX-S Pro Plug-in ECU is coming out soon... within the next month or two I'm guessing.

I am currently rocking the R&D ECU on my 2004 EP3

but yes.. If you cannot wait, there is a boomslang harness you can use to make the DC5 ECU work.

did you have any experience with the haltech E8 to make a comparison to the new ecu's (sport series)? im assuming that is what you are referring to, the new software that comes along with the new ecu's.

Feel free to download the software and some basemaps and goof around with it.

i'd say go with what you can find some one to tune. i mean i think the aem ems would be a good option as would say an ems singer. but we have people that tune just about anything down here in south fl.
