Parking light bulb replacement????
I have a 2000 Honda Civic LX that I need to change the parking light bulbs on. (The bulbs behind the orange cover between the turn signal and headlight). Before I do something dumb and break it, or do it the hard way, what is the proper/easiest way to replace these bulbs? Thanks in advance.
The proper way is to remove the front bumper cover, then remove the headlight assembly. When you have the headlight out then just replace the bulb. Install is the reverse of removal.
Ha! Yeah that's the hard way.
That bulb/plug is accessible by moving the wheel well liner out of the way.
Just remove a few of the plastic fasteners that secure the wheel well liner and pull it out of the way enough to reach the plug. You'll see it, it's easy to reach from there.
Easier than pulling the bumper and headlight, I promise.
