Default Your impressions with this setup...

I have been debating undergoing these modifications on my R for some time now. Well, I have decided to make the plunge. What I wanted to inquire about from my fellow H-T members is, what can be expected from the below listed mods on my stock 2000 R.

- JDM FD
- Toda FW
- Clutchnet Kush Lock disc
- ACT H-025 Pressure Plate

Any feedback would be apperciated....

Sounds ok. What other mods do you have?

Sounds good. I would go with the Comptech flywheel - it's not JDM but it is 2lbs lighter than the Toda.

Actually what I was looking for is, what I can expect with this setup. Better acceleration, is so, will it be a night / day difference.

go w/ the ATS, you'll regret not doing it later!

I was debating ATS, but, since I am able to get a super deal on the JDM unit and because I do not want to scarafice to much top end, I will stick with the JDM unit.

The comptech 7 lbs FW is the same price as the Toda 9.0 lbs unit... Which one should I get????

Toda or Comptech?

Unless you are racing on road courses with very long straights (or live in Germany), this should not be an issue.

Unless stickers matter to you, Comptech.

Not a bad setup.

You may consider ATS 3-4-5 with 4.4 FD or spoon FD.

hmmmm. What about this whole aluminum is too weak, the FW will break and take your tranny with it... The real time R's use this unit, but they tear apart the cars after every race and inspect for damages... Blah, Blah, Blah....

Top end? ~140ish mph isn't fast enough for you? You'll never hit that on normal tracks. And on the street you'll get there quicker than the 145-150ish you'll hit with the JDM. The 5th gear pull with the ATS ******* rocks. IMO it's worth far more than the JDM FD.

eh. it's two lbs. Personally I don't need a 7ish lb flywheel. I like the Toda unit but the comptech is good too. Get whichever you want.
