Default B16A1 with a hydro?????

Is it possible to take a SiR1 longblock and put it on a hydro tranny??? I am sure that I would have to use the newer ecu but... if it works. Has anybody done this? Or will in not work?

The reason I ask is because I can get my hands on a b16a1 longblock CHEAP and I happen to be able to get a GSR tranny CHEAP will it work?
