i dont think you do anything i had a si hatch a long time ago with one allready in it. it didnt look cut or anything but i only had that car for a few weeks so i never took it off to look. try a search.

 

i have integra console and it fitted well on mine..no gaps on sides..just need to drill new holes for the sides(under dash) for tapping screws.i justt needed to wire the cigg lighter and put boots.heres mine

 

Nice.. do you know if the plug on ED's for the back of the cig lighter and small light bulb will also power the new bulb on the ash tray for DC's center consoles..?

 

"IMPORTANT: Your Cig Lighter will not work since the Integra and Civic wire harness is difference. It is easy to fix though. Cut the old Harness Clip off of the Civic Cig Lighter. Now just solder the black wires together to the black wire of the clip, and the red wires and or white wire together to the red wire on the clip. It will now clip and should work right. I added a long piece of wire to make it easier to to clip in since a short wire would of course be harder to do. "
