Removing the C Clip that holds the wrist pin in the piston?
I was wondering how in the world do you remove the C clip that holds the wrist pin in the piston? JE piston + Eagle rod...
Those are fun to remove, what you need is "dental" tools. The little picks in simple terms, a set of them is good that come in 30deg,45deg, 90deg angles as well as straight. then get a small flathead screw driver. once you get the tip of one of the picks in there pry it out then use the flat head to put under the clip and slide it around under the clip to remove it. Thats the way i remove the spiral lock ones, the c-clips are going to be a little bit trickier but i think you should be able to do it with a little bit of practice. Make sure to watch out for your eyes, sometimes they like to pop out and fly across the room. also make sure not to scar the piston up while removing them.
I use a pen tip, works all the time, rotate the pin out to the knotch and use something really sharp to pull it out then rotate it to pull the whole clip out
what's the matter? are you pulling your head again ?

when my buddy and i were putting them in one popped out and knocked his contact out of his eye. funny thing was a second before he put it in he goes man if this thing were to pop out... next thing you knew he was looking for his contact lens.
Umm, yeah.. Gee, a newb being a post ***** already
