Default 3mm headgasket help

I was thinking about going with a 3mm headgasket on my ap1 , is there anything else besides having it installed and tuned that needs to be done? Im looking to get 400-450 hp I have greddy gt3076r turbo 550 injectors fuel pump aem emu etc. installed already hitting 330 rwhp 10psi now .

Yes you need to clock your timing gear when you/they install the HG. You have to punch out the set pin in the gear then rotate the front gear as far clockwise as you can (about 1mm), tighten the bolts and re-install.

It will look like this when adjusted.

2mm is perfect...thats what im running..supposed to be good to 450-500hp

They arnt rated at HP levels, people are making high 700s on stock.
