Default Performer X manifold

I just recieved my manifold and it came with a plug for the nipple that circulates coolant to the thermostat housing. My question is, is it ok to block that off or is it a major source of coolant to the head? I think it looks better and would like to plug it but don't wanna warp my head. Looking for input for people that have done this.

Thanks
Joe

Its going onto a b20v with a GSR head. Its the big coolant pipe on the left side of the flange.

I have GSR with the Performer X on it, also.
Are you talking about the only large hole on the mounting flange? If so, yes you need this coolant hooked up. The bag-parts that came with the manifold should have a single barbed fitting that goes in that location.
Another suggestion download the Skunk2 IM install directions. These plus the Edelbrock directions will make the job easier.
Some pics would be nice.

Sorry I miss understood your question.
Go back into my "GSR Intake System Upgrade" post, you could us a Samco 90 degree hose like I did in that location.

I knew your name looked familiar.

I used a different hose. Didn't like the look of the stock hose. Plus the stock hose was just a bit to long. Cut the Samco to fit.

mine isn't connected, i just plugged it off since im using a teflon manifold gasket that doesn't have a hole for the fitting. however you do have to do some mods to the other water hoses, not sure i remember what i did exactly
