i finally took my car out to the track. i have absolutely zero performance mods done to my car. only "mods" you can consider if anything are tint and an air freshener. anyway, it's a 2000 gsr, full interior/ spare tire. best time out of 4 was:
r/t 1.167
60 2.456
1/8 10.265
1/4 15.813 @88.46mph

that run was against a 95 gsr with CAI and DC headers. he ran a 15.760 @89.79mph
it was head to head the entire way down the track. such a close race. my first 3 runs were horrible like 16.5, 16.3 and 16.9 but once i got a little bit better feel, i think i did ok. now that i've seen it run stock, it's time for me to put my savings to good use and start modding away!

how did u launch

 

i was launching at about 3.5. didn't spin my tires so i was having trouble with traction on the launch. plus the stock michelins just suck ***. if i could have gotten a few more runs in, i think i would have done a little better

 

 

Pretty good times considering its your first time. Get that 60' lower and you're good to go mid 15 hunting.
