When I swap in my B20 I'm putting a Skunk2 Intake Manifold but I want to add some other things too. I was told to run a 99 ys1 tranny but will that tranny be good for boost or no?
Also what ecu should I use with this engine when I swap it in?

what head are you using? if your not running a vtec head change that too and while your at it fully build the head. that tranny is good but not for turbo. but your on the right track TURBO
and get whatever bolt on you can get example fuel, ignition, management, etc. if you have mad money build the bottom to with forged parts a boost the hell out of it or just boost calm for a daily driven!!!!!

Alright when I swap I think I'll do the bottom end too. Selvee the block and put in forged rods and pistons uh....what else should I do to the block?
Also this is goign to be a b20 not a b20/vtec. What tranny should I use since I'm goign to boost this thing?

Ive heard a straight B20 with a Turbo is best with a GSR tranny. Some guy on the board did a 11 with slicks on a stock internal STRAIGHT B20. I think his name is Newman.
If you get the Skunk2 manifold on the straight B20 P75 head, it wont make power until you get cams. Even when you get the cams, the power increase wont be UNTIL after 7000rpm.
7000 RPM is where your fuel cut is at and then you will have to get a chipped ECU.
A Chipped ECU with cams on a non-vtec setup is HORSE CRAZY at low RPM's. Itll want to bog really bad and would like to see higher RPM's.
The best transmission in my opinion (through PERSONAL experience). Is the Type-R tranny. The 3rd day I had a B20z2 and ITR tranny. I took it to the track and ran a 14.64. That was with 5lug suspension, Si chassis, full interior, spinning, and stock tires.
There is a big difference in the rotation weight/mass in 4lug and ITR suspension so it does play in the factor of how fast it becomes in the quarter mile.
Hope all this helps.
BTW, run an OBD1 LS computer.

MiGs knows what's up.
For all-motor or even near-stock motor'd B20B/Z, the GS-R or better the Si/ITR geared tranny is probably your best bet.
"But the B20 is torquey..."
Some might say this, but the B20 still makes it peak power towards the top of the RPM ramge - thus the shorter the gears, the quicker the acceleration because you land closer to your peak whp range.
For boost?
GS-R seems to be a good bet. LS would be KILLER but only if you run some serious boost. For mild boost where you'd be pushing less than say, 220whp the GS-R tranny would absolutely rock IMO. The LS gearing might be a tad too long with lower boost levels.
Good luck!

So Migs what intake mani should I run or should I get a chipped ls, skunk2 intake mani and cams when I swap the engine in?
You will need to buy an original LS intake manifold to begin with to use all the electronics and the throttle body, (unless you got these lying around) since you are going to use the Skunk2 Manifold.
If, you use an OBD2 LS manifold, the EGR valve will be on top of the plenum. I actually plugged my EGR valve because I removed all my smog components. (Screw mother nature, life is too short
)
When you run the Skunk2 manifold, you will also have to "T" a coolant line. Skunk2 didnt make an extra port for one of the coolant lines. You can buy the "T" from a Pepboys. Has to be a "T" with a 7mm ID (inside diameter).
I am in no way saying the Skunk2 manifold is a bad upgrade for P75 heads. All Im saying its not going to be make enough power to even make you happy if you dont have cams or a chipped ECU.
Cliffnotes: Skunk2 is a nice manifold with short runners, to REALLY make use of it, get Crower Cams + chipped ECU

Please dont kill me for this, but this is my own personal preferance...(BTW Im new)
I wanna do a B20b swap...and im lookin to take the WHOLE THING...Tranny and all..First of all, is the shifter a Stalk Shifter or a Floor Shifter ? or does it matter when i take the tranny out ? I dont really feel like changing over from an Auto to a Man, this is just how i am (and yes i can drive Man), I just feel (and dont get mad) but for track purposes its easier to run an auto without worrying about slippin gears or what not.. ANYWAYS...I want to do the B20..and i was wondering, since i want to V-Tec this Tourqey Moster, what head would be best for it ? im not planning on running boost, just a swapped daily driver next is, what kind of parts would I be looking for ? like for intake and such ? i dont think AEM makes CAI for the B20..or do they ?? i dunno, or does that have to do with the head or what ? im not sure... anyways those are my plans...if u could help me out with them, and not rip me to pieces for my ideas, i would love to hear what you all got to say bout it

Hyjix: I don't think the auto b20b tranny would be very good. MAybe the ls auto tranny. Also use the b16 head, check out b20vtec.com for info.
Now for the B20 I'm swapping myself what should I do for head work?
