understanding my vin
im not entirely sure if my girl read off the vin corectly to me.
it is SHHER335X4U501039 does that look right to you?
ive gotten this much from it...
01) S - England
02) H - Honda (duh)
03) H - Civic Si (hatch) ?
04) E - ?
05) R - ?
06) 3 - ?
07) 3 - ?
08) 5 - ?
09) X - check digit
10) 4 - 2004
11) U - made in Swindon, UK
12) 5 - ..
13) 0 - ...
14) 1 - ....production
15) 0 - ....number
16) 3 - ...
17) 9 - ..

Thus 4.5.6. = EP3, the model number. :-p
1.2. = SA-SM United Kingdom
8. = might be the "engine type"
