DOHC ZC Tranny compatible with?

Default DOHC ZC Tranny compatible with?

what motors can the DOHC ZC tranny bolt onto with no problem??

well since the dohc motor is compatable with sohc trannys one would have to think they are the same bolt holes/ dowels

and you thought wrong...

only compatible with the d16a6.

No. Could not be more wrong.

First of, its the ZC transmission, so of course its going to bolt up to Sohc zc and Dohc zc. Then you have all the other 4th gen civic transmission that are the same. D15b1, d15b2, d16a6, bla bla bla

All 1.6 and 1.5 tranny's will work on 1.5 and 1.6 blocks Zc trannys will work on engines that can support the necessary mid-shaft.

Just make sure you have a way to install the bracket for the halfshaft on the ZC and your golden

yeah, and the d16a6 is the only d-series block besides the ZC that has the holes tapped to accept the halfshaft bracket due to the engine being used in the wagovan 4wd.
