Default skunk2 cams VS JUN cams

Are JUN cams really worth the extra $200 more than the Skunk2 cams?

BS.

Do a search for "Skunk2" in the ITR forum's archived topics.

Do you realize how many threads there are on cams?

I don't recall telling anyone else to do a search recently.

i did a search and alls i found was that if you are short on money buy skunk2's so i take it that JUN's are not too much better if they are at all.

Which Skunk2 cams and which JUN cams are we comparing?

What kind of numbers do you want to make? What other mods do you have?

i guess i'll be the only cool guy and answer ur question.

skunk2 stage 2's and JUN 3's are pretty much the same cam. there profiles are very close to being the same. i would go ahead and save urself some money and get the stage 2's

well right now i have a JRSC'd R and im selling it and going all motor but i really havent researched it too much and i want to get a whole head packaged ive priced the skunk2 head package and it is alot cheaper than JUN but i was planning on doing skunk2 stage 2 cams. And i was wanting to know if the JUN is really that much better for that much more or should i just go ahead a get the skunk 2 head package for around 2000 which includes cams, cam gears, valves, retainers, valve springs, and the intake manifold?

Use stock ITR valves and a stock ITR intake manifold.

At the bare minimum get valvesprings and cam gears when you change cams.

Stage 3 needs higher than 12:1CR

You don't ever need more compression, but it would be nice.

so stage 2 will work good with me stock compression? Are the valves and everything else the same thing no matter what stage it is?

So i can run the stage3's on my stock compression but it would make them have more power wiht the higher compression right?
