some of my frens have mounted them behind the center-console . or you could peel back the carpet on the passenger side and mount it towards the top of the carpet . just a few ideas.....

dont do the glove box, it might get too hott and go dead eventually.
I did mine under my passenger seat becuase there really is no room anywhere else unless you relocate the battery.
I have seen custom brackets made to go like over the abs unit but they are very far and between

when i had mine i mounted it on the side of the battery. right on that little half of a battery cover. but i IMO the stock ignition is good enough for the R.

i mounted mine where this guys coil is.

i wouldnt want to have that thing inside my car.. my freind had his mounted inside of the car and that thing was annoying with the buzzing noise... they are noisy it sounds kind of like the feedback that matches your rpms you get from not grounding a radio right...

Yeah i wanna know what a fancy ignition can do on a b18c5. unless its running NAWZ or boost, i dont see myself ever needing an ignition system. looks good in a mod list i guess.

Rob- *naive* and sarcastic.

Sounds to me like they plan on doing something in the future, which is what the ignition will be for. You should already know the benefits of an aftermarket ignition (like the one he is installing) for boost/nitrous aplications.

nobody else runs an MSD box on an itr??
nope - just on gsr, ls, gs and se's
itr gets no love from msd - but its so much better if you just leave it stock

for the love of god - just leave the R stock...

hi rob. i plan to keep it kinda stock. but the tires that came with it have to go (Michelin MX GTV4) and it came with a bunch of extra parts, such as the digital 6. the market for these types of items is very bad, so i will use the parts i got with the car, as otherwise, i will only get like twenty cents on the dollar for the items.

well, i will not leave the car stock. i am putting on a jrsc, and it has some pre installed goodies on it already. i also installed an efi pms and J&S Safeguard. again, since the items came with the car, and nobody pays good $$$ for brand new parts anymore, i will just use them myself. now if only i had good tires for the car.
