Default AC removal

1990 STD hatch.....what all needs to be removed behind the dash to get rid of all the AC components? (with pics if possible) Also will I be able to keep my heat if I remove the AC components? Sorry for the newb question but it seems that all the threads about this have dead pics.

if no one gets back to you tonight, i'll get some pics of my car tomorrow since it is taken apart and show you what can be removed/modified. My car does not have any of the a/c components but I still have heat, so yes it is possible.

Sorry to steal the thread but will the A/C from the hatch work in a CRX? I've been looking for one for the summer to come and if it does fit, then let me know when you get if off of there JLefevers!

Don't know if it did/did not come with from the factory or someone else put everything in. But I do know that the dash is off and all the A/C stuff is there so IDK. So I am quessing that the heater core and heat stuff is in the middle of the firewall. So is all the A/C stuff what is on the pass. side of the firewall?
is the evaporator all that has to be removed?

It also came with a mint Heat/AC control with no cracks. woot woot
