Default Walbro 255lp

I am putting together my turbo setup and have heard over a dozen times that they replace the stock fp with the walbro 255. This comming spring break i plan on putting in my half size radiator and do a little more turbo prep and was considering putting this in as well, but should i wait till i get the turbo in? Would it be a waste of fuel until i have the turbo setup on, will i notice a large drop in mpg as well?

adding the fuel pump will not automatically put more fuel into your motor. It just has the ability to send more fuel as compared to the stock one. Your stock injectors and stock fuel pressure regulator will only allow so much fuel to go into your motor. So until your upgrade those as well, you will not be wasting any more fuel.

no, there will be no gain other than you will have the fuel delivery needed when you do go turbo and upgrade your injectors and what not.
