Default NGK BKR7e-11

Talking to a friend the other day and deciding on what plugs to use in my stock b16b and he suggested the bkr7e-11....im not so sure of why he would suggest these but it is making me curious now if I should use them or not. I am currently running the bkr63ix and it is running very rich, so just wondering if it is worth it or not. Being that they are like 10 bucks for 4 of them.

FYI the plug your friend suggested is an even colder plug.

Stock plug for a Type R motor is the "7" heat range by NGK...that plug would work fine in your B16b.

Although the heat range of your plug isnt what would be making the car run rich...

NGK V-power BKR7E spark plugs for 10.0-12.0:1 compression, or NGK V-power R5671A-8 plugs for 12.0:1+ compression
