i think the DC console flows better but these cup holders are nice and they keep the drink away from the cdplayer

i was expecting a hacked up lower console peice but wow that turned out good. i might ditch my dc2 center console for a ek. we'll see. does the shift boot get tight when you put it in 1st, 3rd, or 5th?

it looks nice and its a nice option after dc consoles (harder to find)but from experience i have owned many eks and thats the one thing i hated ...the cup holder in eks doesnt really hold your cup you slam gears and your **** is all over the place thats why i prefer the dcs cup holder they actually hold your ****.

well so far its got enough clearance and doesnt hit (even tho it is up close to the front) except when i force it in quick and hits alil... no major thing... i might get a new short shifter cuz the type r seems to short

yea best part of addin it there was there was no wire cuttin... just needed to make the whole and move the wires up into place. also didnt get in the way of anything and gave me enough length of wire to work with

I relocated the cig lighter/power into my armrest (on my 98 hatch) so I can charge my ipod or phone and leave it inside the armrest while driving.

Will this bolt up better then the dc console? I am debating on which one to go with in my 88 sedan.

It looks really good, great install. The ek cup holders are horrible though! If you are a fat American like me and get 64oz sodas from Carls Jr it either wont fit, or go flying out at a high rpm shift or a hard corner.

I remember once I spilled an extra large drink from Taco Bell going down my driveway. I was super thirsty too
