Default forged performance manifold Q (pic)

i got this manifold from this guys and im very happy with the quality but my wastegate seem not to sit flat on the flange. do u guys think ill be ok w/ the flange gasket or should i have them weld an other WG flange?

Well all wastegates use a "fire ring" which seals the valve to the flange. You can see the fire ring as the round steel fitting that sitts slightly above the level of the mounting surface. When you tighten the wastegate down It "preloads" the valve in the wastegate while also sealing it to the flange.

so in other words it's fine, you just need to bolt it down and it will sit flat and seal fine.
