ok, i just got my Y1 rebuilt, my 1/2 and 3/4 hubs and sleeves were bad. replaced them the syncros checked out to be .025in clearance and they held just fine when you applied pressure to them with a gear. i hit the gear hubs with 400 grit paper to get rid of the spotting(minimal) and used new syncro springs. every thing clearnance out to the middle of the factory spec chart.

my issue is i got it in ran on it for a day worked just fine woke up this morning i had a 3rd gear scratch at all rpms...im stumped and its intermittent issue. this is confusing. this is the second time its be apart and i still can not find the issue could it be a scha or a fork?
