ive got a noise coming from me gearbox, when i press the clutch it goes away, so thought it was thrust bearing, replaced that with new clutch aswell, still got noise, changed gearbox but no joy still have this noise can anyone help gettin fed up of takin gearbox out .

 

I had a similar issue, I thought the noise was tranny related for a few years, but it ended up being the front wheel bearings. I just never considered checking them.
