p72 ecu chipped and tuned for itr?

got a eg with gsr swap and gonna throw in a jdm itr motor. running the obd1 p72 right now. can i just chip and tune the p72 or will i have to get a p28 or convert to obd2 and get a p73?

Yes you can chip and tune your OBD1 P72.

Have your p72 chipped for your engine setup & call it a day. If you don't want to wait to mail it in to have it chipped simply order a pre-chipped p28 spec ecu.
