i am finishing up the swap right now, and i havent gotten a header to use,

i noticed there is hardly and room what aftermarket header do i use, from what car? which brand fits good w/ little modification

 

It depends on if its a 1st gen b16 and also what ECU you are running. Its easier to use stock b16 header. Give us that info and we can help more percisely.

its a b16a1 going into a 90 civic si. i believe its the pwo ecu. my swap came w/ the exhuast manifold but not the downpipe, thats why i need a new header, i didnt realize that i didnt have the downpipe

 

the factory jdm downpipe has an inverted flange anyway.

I want to say i've seen plenty of DC's in 88-91 civs with b-swaps.

HP racing has decent stuff and not expensive.

I have b16a with PR3 ECU. My ECU requires 2 O2 sensors. I am not familiar with PW0 and how many 02s it reqires. Anyways I got a Kamakazi 4-1 for a Civic SI. I bought it pre welded. Meaning the o2 sensors had to be pluged and relocated to the primaries so my ECU wouldn't throw code 1. See a pic here bottom one.

Are you planning on supercharging you engine? Is that why you have a kamikaze?
Otherwise you are losing power.

I am loosing power as it is. Stock cams, no vafc, x-over at 4700. Stock header is not going to do anything better for me. Supercharger is comming eventually. All motor for the time being.

If you get the 2 piece, you can put it on no problem. If you get a 1 piece, you will have to drop the cross member. I would get the DC JDM replica for your car.

Does anyone know which 02 sensor cotrols which set of cylinders? I know one controls 1 and 3, and the other controls 2 and 4, and there is an 02A and an 02B. But which one contols what? I want to know this so I can get the placement correct when I relocate them on my DC header.

 

it doesn't really matter... they both work the same... u can palce them in any location on the hedders...
