Default lower ball joint recomendations

So on install of my hawk hp+'s I noticed that my front end lower ball joint was ripped and needed to be replaced. I went to Autozone but they told me that they don't even have the part # for it and I needed to go to the dealer. the dealer said it would be over $200.00 since they sell it with the lower control arm. now I have searched crsx and they have a pair they sell from buddy club for $163.00. has anyone else run into this issue? if so could you point me out where to buy an oem replacement. I would like the buddy club ones but i don't think its necessary. thanx for your time.

http://www.rockauto.com/

For some reason they didn't have the ball joint listed for the 2004 RSXs, but they do for the 2002. If they are the same, the the cheapest one was $35.

the lower balljoint is not sold by its self from honda/acura.....it is a "cold fit" part....the balljoint is dipped in liquid Nitragen and slipped into the cast knuckel....If you get a replacement balljoint( there are a bunch around if you search the interwebs), get one with a snapring to hold in the place as once you press the old balljoint out of the knuckel, the fit will not be as tight as a stock cold fit. A good upgrade is the j's racing rollcerter correctors( tall ball joints)....
