if there was a break in the return fuel line from the fuel pressure regulator would that cause the same symptoms as a bad iacv?

i just installed a catch can and now i have a crazy idle. everything was put back together correctly however it looks like i cracked the line coming down the fpr. wont be able to replace till tomorrow

yes quite possible.
is it a hunting idle or what.
fix it then come back

 

yea thats what i was thinking.. i was just looking for a confirmation... its a big hunt its goes from 1200 to 2800 and fuel pressure is steady at like 42 psi it doesnt surge. ill have the new fuel line in the morning and ill post results.

 

well i replaced the fuel line and the problem got a little better. so i took the intake manifold off again cuz i was having problems sitting the gasket. cleaned off the head and the manifold AGAIN and problems gone now.

new catch can in. no more blow by
