B20 Vtec head
I was wondering if you use a GSR head for a B20vtec can it be use for a regular GSR block if you change your plans down the road even thought you have the oil plug in from a Golden eagle kit?
Yes you can, you just have to remove the plug from the head and plug the hole where the hose goes in.
The better, albeit more expensive, is to get a GSR block and get it sleeved, bored to 84mm and run a LS crank. You'll get the same 1.97 Liters as a B20, but the block is stronger and you can also safely boost it. If you aren't a fan of turbo, ride in a car that is and you'll want to do it to yours.

I was thinking about doing that to my GSR block but i have a b20 not being used and don't have all that much money to do so with my GSR block. I thought that plug would get stuck or some shop weld it in so there isn't any leaks that's why i ask.

The crank itself will hold like 500hp, it's the rod bolts that usually are the weak spot. If you balance everything, it should hold ok. Piston side loading becomes more of an issue with longer strokes though.
