Default Will it run with basicly no cluster.

Hi I have a 95 civic with a obd1 ls swap gsr trans. Im in the process of building and sleeving a b18b, I as wondering I would like to take the old cluster out and install a autometer speedo, tach, fuel gauge, and water temp in this carbon fiber pannel I have and install it. Im trying to get a little better reading on my tach and speed with out having a big tach in the dash and I think it would be untastful. Ill have leds for the turn signals ext. Will every thing still function correctly. turn signals ecu.ext

Ive put 2 clusters in my car. it has a new distributer and all and I can tell from driving it the tach sucks.lol

I don't need to be flamed Im asking a very legit Q. im certified in electrical and ecu repair ASE. So please don't assume that i don't know what im doing.

Thanks your info is much apriciated.

i cant see why not, as long as you have the hazard switch plugged in. dont think the local pd will like it, but it should function if everything is wired correctly.

Im no electrical genious so i could be wrong, but im pretty sure you would need a circuit board with resistors to make the led's work correctly.

Yeah resistors will be a must for the leds. The local pd could care less around here aslong as your not speeding or drunk U can have a nitrous bottle in your back window and not get pulled over seen it before.lol. Its honda heaven here. Since my car is a 95 its exempt for emitions and the usual inspection. Thanks very much for the info I might just tackle it. The autometer speedo has a built in odometer.

I love how someone who is "certified in electrical and ecu repair" would need to ask this question.
