Default double din headunit. to fit in 99-00. cage

how do i make my kenwood ddx6019 fit flush into my console? do i need a cage/chassis or something? how do am i suppose to install this, take apart the center console? when i try to put it in, it kinda slides right through easily, not the same as a regular 1 din hu would.

Pretty easy just take out the center piece and you see the holes on the side. That is for you to screw the deck into the center piece. Make sure you use the screws provide by the deck. If you do not have it then find screws that wont screw in too far. You don't want to short out deck by screwin in too much. After you put it all back together the trim on the outside of deck should make it look pretty. haha/ GL

Yes you do...depending on what you want the final result to look like or if your unit is used and didn't come with all the trim bezels.
Luckily both metra and schosche have a filler kit for your car.

you need metra part number 95-7801 or 99-7801 with side mount brackets so it doesnt slide out
