These cars keep getting faster and faster. Today is the "Night the Lights Went Out" Outlaw Radial Tire Championship @ South Georgia Motorsports Park. Congrats to David Wolfe on running a 4.49 @ 172 MPH earlier today.

drag radial racing is awesome...wish the sport compact stuff didn't die out for that class
Note: RWD Drag Radial racing...FWD Drag Radial racing is just stupid

I just found one online of the pass. Check them out below. Hopefully we will get to go down to one of these events. This class has 74 cars trying to qualify. Yikes!!!

i was there up in the stands taking pics... he set and broke the record 4 times this past weekend... rediculous amount of way fast cars tho. congrats to david!
If they were racing in the south it was an 1/8th mile event......haha
Out of all the cars there qualifying.
The slowest car ran like a 4.75 or something like that.
Or that was the bump to get in the race.
Those cars are crazy.
Plus, like I told miller that track is amazing.
People break records there all the time.

yes i wish that track had an event we could go to, NOPI went there in 2006 and that track is just awesome but in the middle of nowhere.
Yeah it is.
But its only 20 minutes from my shop.
So thats cool for me.
I have been trying to get something going down there.
The new owners are kinda non import, so its tough.
Plus it cost a fortune to rent it for the day.

The track isnt that old is it? Or did they re-do the track and its all cement or something now? About 3-4 years ago, I think, a friend called me up and told me that one of the cars from NC that we used to see alot went 3.90's at that track. Best he had did anywhere else at that time were 4.20's I believe.

It was built in 02 I think.
It has been through three owners since then.
It seems to get better every time.
