sooo I recently purchased a teggy... b18b1.. It needed a master cylinder and slave cylinder.. I replaced both.. the clutch works.. BUT it wont let me shift it into 1st, 3rd, or 5th.. AND it will let me shift it in to 2nd, 4th, and reverse without engaging the clutch.. I havent started teh car and tried it if that makes a difference? also, the passenger drive axle is missing right now.. please help me

yea i bled the fluid... i might have to bleed it more.. idk.. could it be a bad clutch? what being wron with the tranny would cause that?

 

if i was you as much as it would suck. take off the tranny and check things.
see if the plate is on right. see if the throw out bearing, pilot bearing, shift fork is all on right. if its all good....its tranny.
i had this problem. no gear at all. shift fork fell off. fixed it...no 3rd 4th or 5th.
another used tranny...3rd and 5th pops out....dang. 3rd time taking it off. lots of sweat grease and blood.
sold the car, kid got a new tranny . fixed problem
i have a gsr tranny for sale. mint. with shifter, fresh paint and fresh oil. lost my liscnse parting out my car.

i would also check the linkage, i had a b16 swap that wouldnt go into 4th 5th or reverse. turned out to be where the dowel pin in the shifting linkage is, was worn, it had a lot of play in it also
