Default Wheel fitment questions

I am looking into buying new wheels and I am wondering if the new wheels would fit. I currently have 17 by 7s and the new ones are 17 by 7s with an offset of +40. I do not know the offset of my current wheels. I am wondering how this offset would look on my car and if the wheels would actually fit. Does anyone have any pics of an accord with wheels with these specs?

Stock height - yes. No problems

Dropped 2 inches - might rub some in the rear - Camber might help

Dropped more than 2 inches - might rub some in the rear. Camber could help, Fender roll might be needed.

** I say this because the 4 cyl sits lower than V6 from the factory. You would need a camber kit in the rear to make adjustments.

Im dropped 2 inches on a 01 V6, running 17x7.5, 44 offset. I don't rub at all. I'm running camber within OEM specs. I have the SPC camber kit in the rear.

The only way you would rub is if you have very large tires. Other than that, your good to go.
