i was just wondering if i could use type r calipers, mounting bracket, and pad on a gsr brake setup? any help would be great

 

I read something in superstreet along those lines, you should be able to use the type-r calipers on the gsr if swapped properly. Let me see if I can dig thru the magazine again and find some info for you.

you'll need to shave off ~3mm depending on what rotor you use from the mounting bracket itself to have them mount up to the knuckle. hope this helps good luck

 

and you'll need to redrill a prelude vtec rotor from the mid 90s. personally i'm on this exact setup with axxis ultimate pads. great street/track combo for mild hp levels. i have zero fade issues with a stock jdm itr drivetrain. with stock gsr brakes, autocross was doable but lap days or crazy back road nurburgring runs would bring on fade even with hp+ pads
