no sound coming out my new speakers!!!!!
if you got ur wires on the wrong way it still will give out sound.
Do you have it connected to an amp or is it going straight to your deck? If it has an amp I can give you more possibilities of what's wrong.
If not then
1. It could be one of your wires fell off or not connected all the way behind the deck/speaker.
2. It could be that your speaker/channel on deck is completely blown.
3. It could be you hooked it up wrong.
I suggest pulling out your deck out and hook the wire straight from the speaker to the deck so you know if the speaker works or not. If it does that means your wire in your car from the deck to the door is cut somewhere.
Solution: You can find where it's cut n reconnect it or you can run a new wire from your deck to the door speaker.
Good luck and lmk if you have any more questions.

One of the terminals on your speakers is touching the metal of the door. Pull the front speakers out and set them on something with the wires still attached and see if they play. Then install them with the sound still playing and when you tighten them down the sound will go away (radio will go into protect mode). Get an air saw and trim the door metal and use a mounting bracket to space the terminals away from the door frame. Rotating them where they have the most clearance can also help.
Ditto the above^^^
It is not too uncommon for the terminals or tinsel leads on aftermarket speakers to come in contact with the doors sheet metal, a little trimming/notching will solve that problem. 94
