I’ve entered my car in an online “I love my car” photo contest that’s tied to the Kansas City Auto Show. The winner is determined by a combination of popular vote and a panel of judges. First place wins $1,000. Five runners up receive $100. If my entry wins any money, all the winnings go straight into the Expo 10 budget.
We’re putting out the call, asking you guys and gals to absolutely FLOOD the online voting for my car. Public voting starts Friday, February 26, at 8:00 a.m. (CST) and ends Monday, March 1, at 4:00 p.m. You can vote once per day, so we encourage everyone to vote 4 times, no more and no less, during the voting period.

If any of the links change when the contest starts on Friday morning, I’ll try to update the link(s) asap. Remember, all winnings to straight to Expo. If you’re planning on attending Expo, your winning vote will directly increase our budget to keep registration fees low and to make the event cooler than ever. Even if you’re not planning on going to Expo, please vote often and show your Type R solidarity.
There are just a couple of rules. First, there will probably be some kind of registration process the first time you vote to ensure that you don’t vote under multiple pseudonym email addresses, which isn’t allowed. Second, you can vote once per day, so be sure to log in and vote all 4 days. Third, the nice young lady standing in front of my nsx is my grandma. Any inappropriate comments will earn you a :kick: in the paddock at Expo 10.
Needless to say, with the army of potential voters that we have in our ITR family and in the Expo community, we should be able to steamroll the votes and win the grand prize. That’s it, thanks everyone.
