Default koni yellow with ITR suspension

ITR owners help me out on this one. Who's ITR has this setup and how do you like it so far?

I've had mine for a month or more now. I like them alot. They are a great replacement for worn OE shocks. But they werent a night and day difference from stock mostly due to stock springs. Im still debating on the GC combo.

well ive had koni yellow/ground controls for the past 4-5 months on my ITR and they are hard to dislike. the dampening is SUPER easy to adjust and the ride quality is solid without being uncomfortable! the ONLY complaint i have is they are just a little squeaky but not enough to not purchase again. hands down my favorite suspension set up ive had! keep in mind i do have ingalls rear camber adjusters and skunk2 front. and my cars has been corner balanced and aligned at WEST END in Gardina, CA. Which i would recommend to ANYONE on the west coast (sry OP)

I have this setup and have no complaints! rides good and you can even lower the car a little through the perch setting.

Koni yellows BLOW AWAY the shock that comes on a Tein Basic. The shock on a Tein Basic is pretty crappy, truth be told.

And what's squeaking on the Koni/GC setup? If you assemble them correctly, there should be no squeak. Poly bushings on the camber kits may be the culprit.

I've tried this and it seems too low. It would still ride great but it would make more sense to get something with stiffer rates to prevent bottoming out. I did this with some 16x7 +35 wheels and my fender liners didn't like it too much.

^Really, i wonder what to low is for you because this is how my car sits after adjusting the perch.

is perfect for me because my roads including my driveway SUCK! and it sits perfect for me as far as being "comfortable" and still look good.

So that's just the shock replacement? Looks decent. I may end up going this route. How much would you say it dropped the car from stock?

????

The Koni yellow replacement shock for the ITR has two settings at which to attach the lower perch. Top is stock height, lower one slightly lowers the car.

If you have a fresh set of OEM shocks, is there really any point (performance wise) in changing over to the yellows?

yeah, it also has settings for the dampening which are real easy to adjust. its a great shock man and many people can vouch for them. Im looking for ground control sleeves for it currently to top it off. One of the best combos out there.

The suspension on the car is solid but what would be the best option to just try to lower it 2in or so?
