Just bought an eg coupe w/ ls swap! Have some q's
Ok so my car doesn't have Ac can I use civic Ac parts or do I need to use dc parts? Also same question regarding t stat. Thx I checked though the site but did find anything quite like how I'm wording it.
Well, speaking as a guy who has a car with no a/c and no p/s...
Anyway- I'd say the general rule of thumb is anything mounted to the engine get from the teggy and anything mounted to the car get from the civic. So mix and match from your local junk yard; mounting brackets, compressor, etc. from an LS motor and the "radiator" and misc mounting hardware from a civic.. The only tricky part would be the lines between the two. I'd assume that they're pretty much interchangeable but someone else may know better than me. Hope this helps!

Oh and the thermostat- I'm assuming you mean the one for the engine coolant. Grab one from an LS... Since it's part of the engine, rather than the car.
For the A/C get everything from a civic including compressor, to mount it to the b18 you will need a delsol vtec A/C bracket, or a b20crv A/C bracket

who needs a/c when u got windows to roll down
you will need new gasket for the tstat.
I've actually used several advance auto T-Stats and they never came with the gasket. Its been awhile since I have bought one so maybe now they come with them, if not maybe they sell them separately?
