Default + wire near fuse box? (99' civic EX)

My pf mirror project is almost finished. The + wire on the relay linked to the + of the switch does not give my relay power. I linked my relay + wire directly to the + battery terminal and my mirrors fold in and out. I need help finding a good + source near the driver side under dash fuse box(preferably). This may be a little difficult because there are over 100 different wires. Thanks

From our discussion in this thread, I state:

PFM RELAY

Yours looks like this:

____|----|____
[1][2][3][4][5]

[1]GRN/YEL
[2]WHT/BLU
[3]BLU/YEL
[4]BLK
[5]GRN/RED

  • GRN/YEL and GRN/RED you extend to BOTH mirrors (ie., split the wires and extend them BOTH to EACH mirror)
  • BLU/YEL arrives from the PFM switch
  • BLK is extended to ground
  • WHT/BLU gets +12V power .... SEE MY NOTE BELOW!
NOTE: See, the common problem with all these diagrams (except for mine) is that they don't wire the RELAY to the correct +12V wire! Notice how in my diagram the WHT/BLU wire from the relay goes to a connection on the under-dash fuse box? This is (AFAIK) so that the mirrors continue to fold after you have turned the vehicle off (ie., press the fold button while vehicle is ON, then turn OFF, and mirrors continue to fold)

Since yours is a 6th Gen, and you do not have a blank spot on your under-dash fuse box to connect to (I've checked the diagrams), what you need to do is use a T-Taps connector and connect your WHT/BLU from the PFM relay to one of these two sources for power, both of which should be WHT/BLU wires, also: the Heater Control Panel or the Stereo Radio Tuner. These wires should pass through the under-dash fuse box somewhere ... they don't (shouldn't!) come OUT of the fuse box, they will be on a pass-through connector from the wiring harness that comes from behind the dash to the one that runs along the dashboard and behind the cluster
and later I state:

Also, as I suspected, WHT/BLU for the folding relay is fused by No.47 - same one as for the Heater Control Panel and the Radio.
This information is what you need to provide power to the relay. I posted the PFM wiring diagrams for an EK in that thread too, and though they are in Spanish, they are EXACTLY what you need.

I tried using a fuse tap with the radio clock slot with no luck. I also tried the heater A/C relay and it didn't give any juice. What should I do next. It seems like my best bet will be to tap into a + wire. Anyone have a suggestion? This is the last step I need for this project. Thx
