Hey Guys

I Blew my old motor up! got at d16y5 block and with an y8 head. I wanna do a mini me swap i know i need a d16y8 pcm from an 97 civic coupe cause that's what i have so it will pass inspection. New head bolts, head gasket and what not.

Anyway my questions are?
1. Can i use the dizzy from the non vtec?
2. How would i run the vtec solenoid to the pcm is there a specific wire?
3. Will the non vtec wiring harness work correctly
4. Is there any other pcm i can work that will also plug into the non vtec 97 dx body i have? maybe one to have vtec engage earlier.

Sorry just about to graduate for an auto tech new in the field still getting the hang of things!
