Default honda wiz chime in 2 coolant lines need help tonite please

IT IS THE SNAIL MANIFOLD
i have a ls vtec setup with a gsr head. and it keeps overheating on short drives. but if i fill it up with antifreeze and let it idle for 5 10 minutes or however long it won't overheat. i thought it mite of been frozen somewhere. ive had the garage at 80 for 4 hours now so i think its should be ok.

ANYWAYS ONTO THE COOLANT LINES

big one on the right goes to the thermostat housing correct.
and the little one on the right i don't know where its suppose to go theres no where to put it. i only have 1 place to put a line on the water pipe and thats the one from the iacv.
ive had it blocked off is that ok or should i bypass into a line if so which one or do i need to get a new waterpipe with more inlets?

ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED THIS HAS REALLY BEEN BOTHERING ME!!! anyone with a gsr maybe have time to go and look at there intake manifold. please help asap thank you

If your IACV is all hooked up,then I usually cap the little one with a coolant cap from like kragen. The big line exiting the manifold goes to the thermostat housing, the hose is a "U" shape.

As for the overheating, first make sure you have a good functioning thermostat. Then if the reservoir fills up when you drive and the temp gets hot,the headgasket is leaking. The cylinder pressure will add pressure to the coolant system making the reservoir fill.If that is your issue.

Try adding watter wetter to your coolant, and make sure your timing is at 15 degrees. But I wouldndt add water wetter till the thaw arrives.First find out why it runs hot.

i don't believe the resivor would fill up but i would let it idle with the radiator cap off and it would start to overflow more when it warmed up then it started shootn up more. but resivor was empty. headgasket leaking coolant in the oil likely or oil sometimes?
and the lower radiator hose never gets hot and no heat.
if timing is off a little bit would that cause it to over heat?

With the cap off during warm up it is often normal for the coolant to overflow out of the radiator. The coolant is expanding due to the heat being generated. This is also good for purging air pockets out of the system after you've refilled with coolant (like after a drain/flush). Once engine warms up (can take a while, possibly 20 minutes or longer at idle), top off radiator and reinstall cap and drive. If it overheats, you most likely have a problem with the head gasket. Note, Im assuming your fan is functional.

As for your coolant line routing, its not as critical as you think, nor would it cause your engine to overheat if slightly misrouted, or in your case, the small hose being blocked off.
