B20 vtec turbo w/block guard?

B20 vtec turbo w/block guard?
I have a b20 vtec with stock sleeves and a block guard. I am planning on makin some pretty good power out of it (around 400). I've heard bad things about b20 sleeves, so does a block guard help and will it all hold up to 400hp?
