what do you think ??? 1991 integra LS
aight i sold my 95 LS and decided to just get something for a DD and picked up a burgundy 2dr 91 LS .. i paid $1500 for the car and wanted to get everyones opinions.... car is stock with 188k miles and automatic but thats ok for the time being. within the last 4 years it has had all this replaced. windshield, exhaust, timing belt, water pump, battery, front/rear brakes, alternator, new tires, spark plugs and i think that was it. the only thing wrong with the car is couple small dings/dents nothing bad, little small rust spot on bottom of driver door, rip on drivers seat, and the valve cover gasket leaked.
but anyways after driving the car for like 150miles it started to sputter and i noticed it had oil in the 2nd spark plug.. so i went ahead and replaced the valve cover gasket, spark plug seals, and put new spark plugs in. so do you think i should be good to go now with no problems? im letting the sealant dry over night then gonna go for a test drive tomorrow. also the car would drip oil out of the exhaust pipping about mid way under the car where it was welded at in one spot. mechainc said it might be because of the oil that was leaking into the spark plug? idk.
but let me know if you think that was a good deal. and if you think that will solve the leaking oil problem and what you might think would cause the oil to drip out the exhaust pipping after driving the car.

also forgot to mention the antenna wont go down. you can hear the motor working but it wont go down. but if you push on it when someone turns the key it will go down then turn the key on and it will raise up.. so is it just disconnected or how would i go about fixing that?

i dont think the antenna is dead. i can hear the motor come on when i turn the key and when i turn the key off ... and if i push down on it while someone turns the key the antenna will go down. and then all i got to do is turn the key back on and it will raise up by its self ... but got pics of the car up now so let me know what you guys think if it was a good deal or not

today i cleared out my tail lights ... so now there white over red .. the 50/50 style instead of being that foggy pink color ... and tinted my fog lights yellow ... i think it makes the car look alot better. will have pics up when i get them uploaded .. also got to wash the car today. so its all clean now

take the tail lights out and the bulbs and wires off the tail light. then pour degreaser in the clear part and shake it around for like 30sec to 1min then dump it out and spray it out with water make sure u get all the degreaser out and dry with blow dryer until dry then put it all back together

oh aight, well ill check into that .. but does anyone have any suggestions for some minor mods for the time being ... some that are cheap
got laid off my job and had bills to pay and i owe back on my taxes =( so i had to sale the DC and i didnt want anything else but a honda/acura ... so i scooped up this clean DA for $1500 ... but eventually it wont be a downgrade once i get another job and some more funds to work on the car ... i plan to swap it and convert it to manual in the future .. but since this body is in almost perfect condition i can just get all my exterior parts and fix all the small dings it had and paint everythign at once keep it all nice and fresh looking ... lol
i do miss my DC though. but once this is a manual i think i'll feel more comfortable in it until then its w/e just a car. kinda boring driving without having to shift gears =(

thanks. i dont know where to start at with it. i was thinking i should order all my lighting stuff first (amber corners, amber bumper lights, 8-10k HID's, and amber side markers) .. then work on the performance stuff, wheels, and suspension .....
what is a good brand that isnt to expensive for a nice size drop .. like is D2 any good or are skunk 2 better. i was on ebay and seen i can get either set of those for like $160

how hard is it to do all the labor yourself? and do i have to pull the motor in order to do this? i really miss having 5-speed .. i might just look for a cheap DA tge with a blown motor or somethign thats already manual and just take everything from that car to do it
You dont have to pull the motor just drop the crapauto out n put flywheel/clutch/PP in put tranny back up put in the 5speed pedal assembly make a hole for the clutch cable put on the shift linkage do a lil wiring and your good to go
it took me 2 weeks since i ended up ordering the mount n it got back ordered so most of the time was waitn for parts
but i did all the work my self i wanna say it took me roughly 18 hours(all together) taking my sweet *** time i also put in a new dash in and a couple other accesories

aight .. i found a shell for cheap just waiting for the guy to email me some pics and let me know if it is a 5speed and if it still has the tranny in it or not .... but i will have some more updated pics of my car in the next couple days
