Turbo Chassis School's Dave Z. injured in minor shop incident!!!!
Tuesday Dave was working in the shop like a Tasmanian Devil (as usual) when a Bessel clamp let go. The clamp ended up striking his right hand and injuring it bad enough to where he went to the ER. He was released from surgery yesterday evening and is back at home with his wife Clair.
Dave's right hand had some bone fragments that had to to be removed but should recover pretty quickly.
I was speaking with him this am and he is in good spirits and is looking forward to getting back out in the shop asap.
From the Honda-tech community and racers everywhere get well soon Dave Z.
Dan and family

I want to thank ALL of you that have expressed well wishes on here HT and with text's,and phone calls. You guys and ladies are truely a great and caring extended family!!!This accident was a product of my own haist and carelessness,(please DO NOT weld a brace to a clamp that is already under a $h!t-load of tension already!!!)....yeah,yeah I SHOULD HAVE known better and yes the posted correction of the clamps name was correct, but it certainly was'nt the clamps fault...it was the idiot that was working with clamp...me!!
This minor set back WILL NOT slow down the busy scheduall that Dan and I have been working on for The Turbo/Chassis School and I'm going to get back into the shop later this afternoon. To all the teams that Dan and I are helping and locating tires and parts for,Carl from M/T has instructed us that these orders will be taken care of on Monday, and Dan is mailing out ALL of the class certificates today.
