Mine broke yesterday and I tried to take it out to replace it.
Ended up breaking the old cylinder in pieces trying to take it off.
My question is does anyone try to do this before because I need a DIY.
I try putting the (C)clip to hold the cylinder back just to test to see if I can put it back once I obtain the new cylinder, but it seems impossible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Special tools?

 

remove the handle from the door,(2 10mm bolts) then insert the clip,reinstall the handle and you can pop the cylinder in with the clip already installed. this will save you a lot of headache
