I'll be dynoing mine in the next few weeks so just check back with me. I'll be running stock gsr cams too for reliability. 170whp with stock gsr cams shouldn't be out of the question maybe less for you with gsr intake
wat intake will u be using... i probably b geting a skunk2 intake no totaly sure if ill have it befor i sawp tha motor in but if not shortly after!
If you're doing an all motor build, an ITR tranny is a MUST!!!!!!
And I would strongly consider changing your valvetrain to Supertech!!!!
Anywho, good luck with your build, let us know numbers when it's done!

well supertech was my first choice but could find any reviews or anyting over supertech if they were good or bad wat wud yall say blox or supertech
When I was doing my build, I heard nothing but good things locally about Supertech, so I purchased it, and then when the head was in the machine shop getting it all put in and everything else, probably 8-9 out of every 10 cars I was seeing in the Honda Tech magazines I was getting were all using Supertech...
Oh yeah, and the guy who put my motor together had an ls/vtec turbo in a hatch that did high 9's and was revved up to 12,xxx rpm's for around a year had the Supertech valvetrain...

Your forgetting the most important part of the build....
1. The rods: Get better rods because it's going to be hard on the LS rods reving at higher rpm. You wouldn't want a rod to snap and have to pull the block/engine a part again=Hassle/Pain in the ***.......
2. Cams: There is really no use for "blox valve springs
blox ti retainers" if your not going to buy cams......(If your building a budget build & low on cash, I say trade the Port job for the cams and you'll be a lot happier)
Tip: B16 pistons make more compression than your usdm type r pistons and requires no modification to use the B16 pistons on the oem LS rods.....As for using type r pistons on your Ls oem rods you'll have to mod it....(Not sure if JDM type r pistons makes higher or not...you'll have to dig into that cuz i can't remember off my head)
